Dwelling in Beulah Land
by Rick Flanders
These things have I spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. —John 16:33
If you knew that this was your last day on earth and you had just a few, precious hours to speak to those closest to you, what would you say to them? What things would you most want them to know and remember once you were gone?
The Book of John chapters 13 through 16 is the record of such a talk between Jesus and the men closest to Him, the small group of men known as His disciples—those who had given up everything to follow Him. The words He spoke to them that night, though they did not fully understand at the time, would revolutionize their lives and ministries and lead them into a deeper, fuller relationship with Him than ever would have been possible had He stayed with them on earth.
And those words will do the very same for you!
Dwelling in Beulah Land is not a book about living in Heaven, but about living the Christian life here on earth: not a life of spiritual ups and downs, failures, and fruitlessness, but a life of peace, victory, and abundance. Look at this familiar passage with new understanding as Evangelist Rick Flanders walks you through Jesus’ last hours with His disciples and leads you in a detailed study of the truths Jesus spoke to His disciples that night—and that He spoke to you. Learn of the Christian life as God intends for you to live it—the abundant life that is “Beulah Land”!
